Pauline Maes currently serves as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Boston University, focusing on a MSCA Postdoctoral Global Fellowship, in addition to receiving a BAEF Postdoctoral Fellowship. Previously, Pauline Maes was a Postdoctoral Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Université libre de Bruxelles from July 2018 to June 2023, where involvement included the ‘Belgian Language in Autism Study’ and courses in general linguistics and quantitative methods. Pauline Maes holds a PhD in Linguistics from Université libre de Bruxelles (2018-2022), as well as a Master's degree in Linguistics from the same institution (2016-2018) and a Bachelor's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from Institut libre Marie Haps (2012-2015) and Universidad de Granada (2014-2015). Additionally, Pauline Maes participated in an AFS Intercultural Programs USA High School Intercultural Program in 2010.
