René van Baardewijk

René van Baardewijk is an experienced professional with a diverse background in business and military operations. Since July 1998, René has served as the Owner of Rebain International, a chemical trading and distribution company based in Auckland, New Zealand, with global offices in various countries. In addition to leading Rebain, René is an Advisory Board Member at Boston University and the Owner of Panoramic Trading & Investment SL, which focuses on short-term tourist rentals primarily in the Spanish Pyrenees and Antwerp, Belgium. René also holds the position of Manager at Anouck and serves as a Global Chamber Advisor for the Global Chamber network in Barcelona, Spain. Earlier military experience includes serving as a Platoon Commander in the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps. René holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration from EU Business School.
