Tasker Smith

Tasker Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education and engineering innovation. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at both Boston University and the EPIC - BU Engineering Product Innovation Center since June 2022, Tasker also holds the position of Advisory Board Member at Stratasys, contributing to the development of 3D printing technology in education. Prior to these roles, Tasker worked as a Technical Instructor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from December 2013 to May 2022, mentoring students in machine tools and emerging technologies. Tasker’s earlier career includes significant positions such as Mechanical Prototyping Lead at Continuum and Director of Print Services at Z Corporation. Tasker holds a BA in Performing and Studio Arts from Bates College and an AAS in Machine Tool Technology from Dunwoody College of Technology, complemented by various craft education experiences.
