John Craven

John Craven possesses a diverse legal and management background with extensive experience in public service and education. Currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at the Boston Water and Sewer Commission since March 2014, Craven has held various roles including Analytics and Reporting Manager at UMass Medical School and Director of Health Care Policy and Finance at the Massachusetts Office of the Inspector General. Previous positions include General Counsel for the Massachusetts Racing Commission and Administrative Attorney at the Office of the Commissioner of Probation. Craven also has experience as a mentor focused on bar exam tutoring and served as a Hearing Officer at the Department of Public Utilities. Educationally, Craven earned a JD from Suffolk University Law School and a BA in History from Boston College.
