Ivan Basch

Ivan Basch is an experienced board member and volunteer dedicated to food security and community engagement. Currently serving as a Board Member for Boston Area Gleaners, Inc., Ivan focuses on sustainable food systems and reducing food waste. As a founding member and Clerk of the Board for NEAT, Ivan helps organize free monthly dinners for the community, procuring ingredients to create meals. Ivan has extensive experience in the event and hospitality sectors, working as concert security at Fenway Park and an usher at Leader Bank Pavilion. Additionally, Ivan has held positions in IT project management and operations at Dassault Systèmes and VFA, contributing to various development and management initiatives. Ivan holds a BA in Computer Science and Economics from Brandeis University, along with several certificates in entrepreneurship and innovation.
