Gianfranco Bevilacqua

Gianfranco Bevilacqua has a diverse work experience in the engineering industry. Gianfranco currently holds the position of Vice President Strategic Planning at Boswell Engineering, Inc., where they are responsible for formulating the company's strategy for future expansion and growth. Gianfranco also takes part in M&A activities and ensures alignment between Boswell's financial goals and the holding company, Italconsult.

Prior to their current role, Bevilacqua worked at Italconsult SpA in various positions. As the Operations & Strategy Manager of their Qatar Branch, they were in charge of business development, project management, and financial control. Gianfranco also served as an Operations & Strategy Engineer, where they played a key role in project start-up and implemented operations plans and procedures. Additionally, they worked as a Site Civil Engineer, supervising the execution of a major road construction project.

Before joining Italconsult, Bevilacqua worked as a Site Civil Inspector at A & S Engineering, where they were responsible for monitoring work progress and ensuring compliance with design specifications in a railway construction project.

Gianfranco Bevilacqua's education history begins with their enrollment at the Università degli Studi di Palermo from 2008 to 2014. During this period, they completed a Laurea Magistrale in Architettura e dell'Ingegneria edile (B.Eng.+M.Sc.Eng) with a focus on Ingegneria edile-architettura. Gianfranco also pursued an Erasmus program at the Universidade do Porto from 2011 to 2012, specializing in Architettura.

In 2014, they obtained their Professional Architect Qualification from the Università degli studi di Palermo, followed by a Professional Engineer Qualification later that year. In 2015, they achieved the Professional Engineering License - Section A/Sector A from the Ordine degli Ingegneri della Provincia di Palermo.

Building on their academic achievements, Gianfranco Bevilacqua acquired additional certifications. Gianfranco obtained a Professional Engineering License from the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, Qatar in April 2018. In December 2019, they earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

Most recently, Gianfranco Bevilacqua commenced a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the Columbia Business School in 2021. The completion of their MBA degree is expected in 2023.
