Jonathan (Joe) Keene has extensive experience in the web development field. In 2009, they began their career as a Web Developer at Je James Cycles, where they were responsible for performing maintenance and updates to the existing website, as well as working on multiple projects simultaneously. In 2011, they moved to BT Local Business, where they worked in the marketing team styling email templates and landing pages, while also keeping the company website up to date with the latest technologies. In 2012, they joined Motability Operations as a Web Developer, where they worked to improve and re-scaffold existing legacy code. In 2014, they joined Proctor + Stevenson as a Web Developer, where they were involved in theming Drupal sites to be fully responsive, and managed the full lifecycle of projects from initial designs to deployment. In 2016, they joined Keene Development Limited as a Web Developer, and in 2019 they became the Chief Technology Officer at Bot-Hive.
Jonathan (Joe) Keene began their educational journey in 1997, when they attended Haberdasher Aske's Hatcham College and earned 10 GCSEs, including Bs in Maths, English, Science and an A* in French. From 2002-2004, they attended Penwith College and earned AS Levels in Drama and Ceramics, as well as 2 A Levels in Computing and Photography. In 2004, they enrolled in Teesside University and earned a Visualisation degree. Finally, from 2008-2011, they attended Sheffield Hallam University, where they earned a Film & Visual FX degree with a focus on Cinematography and Film/Video Production.
