Ben Janeczko

Ben Janeczko is an experienced professional in the tourism and events sector, currently serving as the Head of Partnerships and Tourism at the Botanic Gardens of Sydney since July 2021, where leadership encompasses the development, events, and marketing teams to enhance unique experiences and support conservation efforts. Prior roles include Manager of Partnerships and Marketing Director at Eclipse Travel, as well as Festival & Events Champion at Dave's Events. Ben's background also features significant contributions at Destination NSW, including roles as Food and Wine Specialist and Program Manager for Youth, focusing on tourism product promotion and youth strategy implementation. Earlier experience at Tourism Australia involved managing distribution partner activities across Northern Europe while overseeing a team to deliver cooperative marketing initiatives. Ben holds a Master’s Degree in Gastronomic Tourism and a Bachelor of Tourism from Southern Cross University and the University of Canberra, respectively.
