Jamal Bouie

Jamal Bouie is a seasoned professional in the field of cannabis science, currently serving as the Lead Formulation Chemist at Botanic Tonics since October 2022. Bouie also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Association of Black Cannabis Scientists, Inc., an organization dedicated to promoting Black excellence and accessibility in cannabis science while encouraging future generations to pursue STEM fields. Prior to these roles, Bouie gained extensive experience in various laboratory positions, including Lab Manager at LabPlex and Chemical Analyst at Kaycha Labs, with expertise in CO2 extraction and distillation processes. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from LeMoyne-Owen College.
