Yin Zou's work experience includes a co-founder and COO role at Botanic Tonics since 2020. They also hold the position of Distinguished Fellow at the Energy Policy Research Foundation, Inc. since 2021. Prior to that, Yin Zou founded GacLife in 2018. From 2014 to present, Yin Zou has served as a Steering Committee Member for the SAIS Leadership Circle at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, supporting the initiative in connecting professionals and providing mentorship. Additionally, they worked as the Head of Global Marketing and Director of Asia, Business Development at Tend from 2015 to 2017. Yin Zou has also worked as a Consultant in Government Relations at APCO Worldwide in 2014 and as an International Associate in Public Affairs at AUX Initiatives LLC from 2013 to 2014. They have also held the position of International Programs Fellow at the U.S. Association of Former Members of Congress in 2012. Lastly, Yin Zou worked as a Consultant, Asia Specialist at APCO Worldwide and as a Legislative Intern for the U.S. House of Representatives both in 2012.
Yin Zou holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Diplomacy from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. They also have a Master's degree in Global Environmental Policy from American University. Additionally, Yin Zou has pursued further education at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), studying International Relations and American Studies to earn a Master of Arts (MA) degree.
