Gastón Salinas

Gastón Salinas has a long and varied work experience. In 2019, they were the Chief Executive Officer at Botanical Solution Inc. From 2014 to 2019, they held the role of Board Member at Biotecnológica del Sur SpA, a company that has developed a state of the art clonal plant regeneration technology. From 2009 to 2013, they were the Founder of Latinnovators, a business platform to identify, select and train high potential entrepreneurs looking for funding and support to scale up ventures internationally. In 2013, they were the Board Member and CEO of Botanical Solutions Spa, a company that has developed the most advanced biochemical biopesticide for sustainable agriculture. From 2012 to 2013, they were an Entrepreneur in Residence at Telefónica Chile. In 2011, they were a Senior Advisor at Ingalfarma. In 2010, they were a Co Founder at Botafinex Spa, a biotech company that researches and develops natural pest management solutions. From 2006 to 2009, they were the Head of International Program and Science and Business Manager at Octantis, a consulting mandate and intellectual collaboration for the project Support for the Creation of Biobusiness in Chile.

Gastón Salinas completed a B.Sc in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez between 2003 and 2006. In 2007 and 2009, they obtained an M.Sc in Business Engineering from the same university. Gastón also completed a Certificate in Venture Capital from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in 2008. In 2000 and 2002, they attended Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria, where they were pursuing a B.Sc in Civil Engineering, but dropped out. In 2014, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business for Corporate Innovation.
