Nicole Pendleton

Nicole Pendleton, AICP, CZA, CFM, currently serves as the Director of Community Development for Botetourt County since June 2014, after holding the position of Planning Manager and Zoning Administrator. Prior experience includes a role as Community Development Analyst at Freedom First Credit Union from August 2011 to June 2014, Planner II for the County of Roanoke from July 2007 to July 2011, and Community Development Planner for the City of Lynchburg from May 2003 to May 2005. Nicole Pendleton holds a Master's degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia (2003-2005) and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Sciences with a focus on Environmental Thought and Practice from the same institution (1999-2003).
