Banele Goodwill Mavuso

Banele Goodwill Mavuso is an experienced educator and IT professional currently serving as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Botho University since July 2024, focusing on IT and cyber security concepts. Prior to this role, Banele worked as a Technical Support Specialist at ujatcare.com from October 2022 to December 2023, and held positions such as Information Technology Support Technician and IT Support Technician at SMVAF from January 2020 to January 2022. Banele's career in education began as an Information Communication Technology Teacher for the Teaching Service Commission from March 2014 to December 2018, complemented by earlier experience in IT support at the Eswatini Meteorological Service. Banele holds a Master’s degree in Cyber Security and Incident Response, Computer Science from National Forensic Science University and possesses a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology as well as a National Diploma in Computer Science from Eswatini College of Technology.
