Rachael Smith has a diverse work experience in software engineering and design roles. Rachael started as a Design Team Leader at Social Research Strategies in 2013, before moving on to various software engineering roles at Serve IT, Openwords, Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing, and Appirio. Rachael then transitioned to companies like Bisk, Red Ventures, and Botkeeper in senior engineering and leadership positions, culminating in their current role as Director of Engineering at Botkeeper from January 2024.
Rachael Smith attended Indiana University Bloomington from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatics with a cognate in Fine Arts and minors in Marketing and Human Centered Computing. In 2016, they also obtained a certification as a Salesforce Certified Administrator.
