Fang Fang has a diverse range of work experience. They began their career as an Animator at Xinhua News Agency from 2010 to 2012. In 2016, Fang worked as an Intern at Fossil Group, Inc., where they assisted with men's leather design and engineering, as well as training in the Vault system. They also served as a Graduate Mentor at Savannah College of Art and Design from 2016 to 2017. Fang then worked as a Gallery Management Intern at Holder Dane Gallery for a few months in 2016. In 2017, they freelanced as an Accessories Design Freelancer at 3.1 Phillip Lim, assisting with handbags and SLG designs. From 2019 onwards, Fang has been an Instructor at Academy of Art University, teaching footwear construction and accessory design classes. Currently, Fang works at Botrista Technology, Inc. as a Design Consultant and is responsible for creating advertising campaigns and working with marketing teams to increase customer awareness.
Fang Fang completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Animation at the Communication University of China from 2008 to 2012. Fang then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degree in Animation and Folk Arts from the same university, which they completed from 2012 to 2015. Finally, they attended the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2015 to 2017, where they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Accessory Design.
