Bathsheba Mbongwe is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Research and Partnerships at the Botswana Institute for Technology Research and Innovation (BITRI) since August 2016. Mbongwe has held the position of Director of the National Internship Programme (NIP) at the Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs since December 2010. Prior to these roles, Mbongwe was a Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Botswana from February 2006 to December 2010, focusing on research methodology in psychology. Mbongwe also served as the Head of HR & Admin at ABM University College from May 2007 to August 2008. The educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Psychology from the University of Pretoria and a Master of Science (MS) in Educational Psychology & Methodology from the University at Albany.
