Thabiso Oabile

Thabiso Oabile has a diverse work experience in various roles in the technology sector. Thabiso started their career at Botswana Railways in 2011, where they worked as a Database Administrator and Systems Analyst, responsible for managing and creating Database Maintenance Plans and implementing unified reporting systems. Thabiso then moved to Bank of Botswana in 2016, where they continued to work as a Systems Analyst and later became a Senior Systems Analyst. In 2019, they joined First National Bank of Botswana Limited as the Head of Operational Risk. Currently, they are working at Botswana Insurance Company, where they hold the position of Head of ICT and Chief Technology Officer. This professional journey showcases Thabiso's expertise in technology and their growth in leadership roles.

Thabiso Oabile obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Botswana in the years 2005 to 2009. Thabiso then pursued a Master's Degree in Project Management from the University of Sunderland, graduating between 2017 and 2020.

In 2014, Thabiso acquired several certificates from Microsoft, including the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) Certificate and the Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA-Database Administration Fundamentals) Certificate. These certificates focused on Data Modeling/Warehousing and Database Administration. Thabiso also completed a course on Developing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Core Solutions from Bytes Training Center in South Africa in the same year.
