Takumi Prefontaine

Takumi Prefontaine is a seasoned professional in sustainability and environmental innovation, currently serving as Sustainability Innovation Lead at Bottega Veneta since August 2021, following roles as Sustainability Analyst and Sustainability Intern. Prefontaine's experience includes an internship with the United Nations as part of the CBD Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, where duties involved drafting reports and stakeholder engagement. Previous positions include Environmental Awareness Officer at SOCENV, where initiatives focused on water conservation and recycling education, as well as immersive programs with Grameen Bank and Yunus Centre in Bangladesh related to microcredit and social business development. Prefontaine holds a Master’s degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Geography from Université de Montréal.
