John Woods

John Woods has extensive maritime experience as a Captain, currently serving at Moran Towing Corporation since January 2019 and at Bouchard Transportation Co., Inc. since July 2010, where responsibilities include operating the ATB Ellen S. Bouchard on routes between Canada and Norfolk, VA since January 2017. Prior experience includes a Captain position at Donjon Marine from February 2003 to July 2010, managing the Atlantic Salvor with duties in ocean service and anchor handling. John Woods also worked as a Mate at K-Sea Marine from 2001 to 2003, overseeing navigation and vessel operations, and held a similar role at Tidewater from 1997 to 1999. Educational background includes attendance at Newman Prep in Boston, MA, during 1977-1978.
