Scott Colby

Scott rejoined Boulay in 2022 and has more than 20 years of professional accounting experience. He began his career and spent more than 18 years at Boulay, before moving on to spend several years in finance leadership roles with industry organizations. Scott then returned to his Partner role in Boulay’s Accounting Advisory Department. He focuses on providing consulting, accounting, compliance and tax services to clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, professional services, wholesale and distribution, construction, and employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs). Scott specializes in advising privately held family businesses with business management consulting, succession planning, accounting assistance and income tax planning. He also assists clients with software and reporting issues, makes recommendations of improvements for management processes and documentation, plans and executes mergers and acquisitions, and provides executive-level outsourcing. Scott is actively involved with developing skills of his staff and being a part of the mentor program.
