Neil Kaufman

Neil Kaufman has a diverse work experience in various leadership and teaching roles. Starting in 1993, they served as the President of Neil A. Kaufman Construction until 1999. Following that, they worked as a Faculty member at Colorado State University's Department of Construction Management from 2000 to 2003. From 2004 to 2005, they were a Senior Estimator at Bartran Construction, Inc. In 2006, they became the Director of Procurement at Stoner Construction, Inc. for two years. From 2009 to 2022, they served as the Executive Director of the National Center for Craftsmanship. Simultaneously, they founded UpRiver, LLC and held the position of President from 2015 to 2022. Neil currently works at Boulder Associates, where they initially served as a LEAN Coach from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Project Integration.

Neil Kaufman has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University. Neil also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Ceramic Engineering from Alfred University. Additionally, Neil has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Education and Human Capital Development from Colorado State University. The start and end years for each degree are not provided.
