David Lerman

David Lerman is currently the CTO at Boulder Care. Prior to that, they were the Technical Advisor to the COO at Kiva.org from August 2016 to October 2016. In that role, they worked with the COO and CTO to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the current technical organization and to develop a plan to improve velocity and overall team health. David evaluated the organization across a wide range of areas, including culture and dev processes, architecture and code quality, site performance, testing, operations, data, product strategy, etc. After identifying and prioritizing a set of projects and deliverables to address identified gaps, they advised the CTO on technical architecture and strategy, development processes, hiring and people management.

Lerman has also been a Co-Founder and CTO at Say Media from November 2004 to April 2016, Founder at Ten Acre Systems from January 2017 to July 2018, and CTO and Co-Founder at MediaLiquid from January 2003 to December 2004. In each of these roles, they were responsible for the technical direction of the company and oversaw all aspects of technology development. David also played a key role in developing the company's product strategy and roadmap.

David Lerman attended Yale University for their undergraduate degree, where they double majored in computer science and psychology. David then attended Sterling College for their culinary arts degree. After graduation, they enrolled in the International Culinary Center to further their education in cooking and related culinary arts.

They work with Sara Young - VP, Partner Success, Noel Van Dyke - Director, People Operations, and Ben Sommers - Head of Business Development. David Lerman reports to Stephanie Strong, Founder & CEO.
