Nancy Lipsey has extensive work experience in program management and community events. Nancy is currently the Senior Director of Programs at Boulder JCC since April 2019. Prior to that, they worked at the National MS Society as the Sr. Development Manager for Bike MS from February 2017 to May 2018. Nancy also worked at New York Road Runners, where they held roles such as Director of Volunteer Operations and Community Events from April 2015 to January 2017 and Senior Manager Volunteer Operations from June 2012 to March 2015. Nancy Lipsey has a diverse educational background. Nancy obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from American University, attending from 1990 to 1994. In 1994-1995, they further pursued their education at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, earning a Master's degree in Nonprofit Management. Nancy also had an interest in Jewish Studies, attending the Pardes Institute for Jewish Studies from 2002 to 2005, and studying Hebrew and Israeli Culture at the WUJS Arad Institute in 2002.

Additionally, Nancy has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2018, they successfully completed the "Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): A Strategic Approach" program at the University of Pennsylvania. Nancy also became a Certified ScrumMaster® through the Scrum Alliance in June 2018. Moreover, in 2013, Nancy obtained certifications from FEMA, including "ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incident," "Introduction to Incident Command System ICS-100," "National Incident Management System (NIMS) An Introduction," and "National Response Framework, An Introduction." Nancy also holds certifications in CPR/First Aid (April 2013) and Wilderness Outdoor First Aid (November 2018).
