Gavan Goodrich

Gavan Goodrich is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the School Principal for Boulder Valley School District since July 2022, focusing on small mountain middle and high schools. Prior to this role, Gavan held principal positions at Jeffco Public Schools, overseeing both traditional and alternative high school settings from July 2014 to June 2022, and at Lovejoy High School from June 2010 to June 2014, where Gavan led a college preparatory high school and contributed to the development of the secondary program in Lovejoy ISD. Gavan's leadership experience also includes founding Sloan Creek Middle School and serving as principal from 2005 to 2010, as well as prior roles in the McKinney Independent School District, culminating in a series of administrative positions beginning in 1998. Gavan began a career in education after earning a Bachelors of Arts in Advertising from Michigan State University and later obtaining a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of North Texas.
