Jovita Schiffer

Jovita Schiffer is an experienced professional with a diverse background in program management, consulting, and human resources. Currently serving as Program Director and Extended Learning and Community Programs Manager at Boulder Valley School District since August 2012, Jovita designs and oversees programs that support low-income and underserved families. In addition, Jovita is the Managing Director and Lead Consultant at Schiffer Consulting LLC, specializing in inclusive education programs and leadership development since September 2020. Recently, Jovita was a Democratic Primary Senate candidate for Colorado State Senate District 18, focusing on critical social issues. Prior entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding Front Range Handyman & Remodeling, achieving significant revenue growth in the first year, and holding director-level human resources positions at Research Electro-Optics and Westcon, where extensive operational and strategic responsibilities were managed.
