Kristen Zandee

Kristen Zandee is an experienced mental health professional with a diverse background in therapeutic practices and patient advocacy. Currently serving as a Mental Health Advocate at Boulder Valley School District since October 2021, Kristen previously held multiple positions at Denver Springs Behavioral Health Hospital, including Inpatient Program Manager and Activity Therapy Coordinator. With a strong foundation in experiential therapy from a role at Lutheran Medical Center, Kristen has effectively supported various populations, including geriatrics and dual-diagnosis patients. Kristen's career began as a High School Counselor and teacher at Faith Christian Academy and has also included leadership roles in senior living communities and camp programming. Kristen earned a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from the University of Idaho.
