Joan Maris Rosos

Joan Maris Rosos is an experienced Software Engineering Manager who has worked in the IT industry since 2003. Joan Maris began their career at Teradyne Philippines, Ltd. as a Business Analyst (Team Lead), where they were responsible for generating reports in excel and automating manual reports. In 2007, they joined Nextest Systems (Philippines) Corp. as a Business Process Analyst, where they developed and maintained web-based applications and tools. Joan Maris then moved to Trax Technologies Asia, Inc. in 2009, where they served as Development Manager and Applications IS/IT Manager. In 2012, they joined Talleco.com Inc. as Software Development Manager, and in 2013 they joined Tieto Global Oy as Development Manager. In 2015, they joined FPT Software as Software Development Manager and in 2016 they joined Promet Source as Project Manager/PH Office General Manager. In 2019, they joined Innodata as Head of Engineering - Philippines, and in 2021 they joined Boundless Immigration as Software Engineering Manager. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for leading teams of project managers, software developers, business analysts, and application support engineers, formulating strategies and objectives, spearheading cross-functional Sales and Marketing initiatives, and ensuring that all projects are proceeding according to plan and budget.

Joan Maris Rosos has a varied educational background. Joan Maris obtained a High School Diploma from Valeriano E. Fugoso Memorial School in 1996. Joan Maris then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of the Philippines, which they completed in 2000. Afterward, they obtained a Masters of Management from the University of the Philippines in 2004. In 2016, they completed a Diploma in Professional Education from St. Theresa's College Cebu. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Building a Coaching Culture: Improving Performance Through Timely Feedback from LinkedIn in 2021, Enterprise Architecture from Coursera in 2021, Introduction to Data Science in Python from Coursera in 2018, and Machine Learning from Coursera in 2018.
