Jacek Kopec

Jacek Kopec has extensive experience in maritime operations, currently serving as Chief Officer SDPO at BOURBON since January 2019. Prior roles include Chief Officer DPO at Atlantic Marine & Aviation LLP from March 2017 to November 2018, where responsibilities involved operating the Atlantic Enterprise with a motion compensated gangway system. Prior to that, Jacek held positions as Chief Officer DPO and 2nd Officer DPO on the MV Torben at Swancore, focusing on wind turbine installation. Jacek also worked at Atlantic Marine & Aviation LLP from January 2014 to July 2016 as Chief Officer / DPO and 2nd Officer / JDPO on the Atlantic Carrier, managing various projects related to cable laying and hydroacoustic surveys. Jacek began professional training as a DP Trainee at HydroDive Group in 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Navigation and Maritime Transport from Gdynia Maritime University, obtained from 2006 to 2011.
