Phil Sayles

Phil Sayles serves as the Principal and CEO of Bournemouth and Poole College since January 2022, bringing over 19 years of experience in the education and skills sector across various senior roles in four colleges. Previous positions include Principal and Chief Executive at Selby College, where significant challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic were managed, and Director roles in the Yorkshire & Humber Institute of Technology and Supporting Futures Selby Ltd. Additional board memberships encompass the Dorset LEP, Selby District Town Centre Regeneration Advisory Board, and North Nottinghamshire Business Improvement District. Phil Sayles holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Science in Business Studies from the University of Bradford, alongside leadership programs from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
