Dr Phil Wilkinson

Dr. Phil Wilkinson has extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer in Communications at Bournemouth University since October 2012. Specializing in fields such as Economics of Information Security, Digital Communications, and Cyber-Psychology, Dr. Wilkinson also mentors students on social and emotional intelligence competencies. In addition to academic roles, Dr. Wilkinson contributes as a STEM+ Ambassador, engaging young learners with technology through hands-on activities. Earlier positions include mentoring roles with the National Citizen Service and IT Technician responsibilities at Eston Park School. Dr. Wilkinson holds a BSc in Computer Science from Newcastle University and is conducting research on the impact of serious games on children's social and emotional intelligence.
