Bousquet Mountain

Bousquet Mountain - a cherished wintertime gem in the Berkshires. As the heart of our community since 1932, we strive to keep Bousquet familiar yet fresh, honoring our past while invigorating the future. We invite you to join our growing community, continuing our rich ski traditions and creating new memories together. Our history is as steep as our slopes. Bousquet began as a mink farm, but after the Great Depression, Clarence J. “Clare” Bousquet permitted the Mount Greylock Ski Club to carve out our inaugural ski slope. Innovations quickly followed: Bousquet's first rope tow in 1935 drew more visitors and gave birth to the rope tow gripper, protecting skiers and selling half a million units. We also pioneered night skiing by lighting the runs with General Electric's floodlights in 1936. Bousquet's future shines brightly as we uphold our commitment to keep the mountain vibrant. We're eager to evolve, enhance, and innovate, continually improving your ski experience while respecting our legacy. We look forward to sharing our growth with you and can't wait to welcome you home to Bousquet Mountain. Stay tuned for exciting updates as we finalize our development plans!"
