Dan Driscoll

Dan Driscoll has had a varied career in the tech industry. In 2012, they were a Programming Board Member for StartOut, where they co-founded HackOut, a hackathon for the LGBTQIA+ community. In 2014, they were the Board Chair for Prepify, an Austin-based tech startup. In 2017, they were a Mentor for Out of Office Hours. In 2018, they were a Senior Product Manager for The Home Depot and a Featured Speaker for Product School, as well as a Contributor for Hacker Noon. In 2019, they were a Senior Director of Product Management for CoStar Group and a Product Management Consultant and Digital Strategist. Dan was also Lead Mentor for Techstars Austin and Detroit, and a Co-Founder, COO, and Head of Product for Boutiq, a Techstars Austin portfolio company.

Dan Driscoll attended Georgetown Day School from 1988 to 1997, followed by Gonzaga College High School from 1997 to 2001. Dan then attended Pomona College from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a B.A. in Politics, Environmental Analysis, and English. In 2011, they began attending The University of Texas at Austin and Texas McCombs School of Business, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in 2014. Dan also completed a Master of Arts in Advertising at the Moody College of Communication during this time. In 2016, they completed a Data Analysis Circuit at General Assembly and obtained a Data Analysis Course certification in 2017. Dan also attended MakerSquare - School of Software Engineering in 2014, where they completed a part-time evening course in Front-End Web Development. In 2019, they attended Startup School Online. Finally, they hold a U.S. Soccer Federation "B" coaching license.
