Chief Technology Officer at Bouvet

Simen Sommerfeldt is the current Chief technology officer at Bouvet. Prior to this, Sommerfeldt was a Styremedlem, Østlandet for Den Norske Dataforening from March 2011 to February 2015 where they were heavily involved in arranging the conference "Software 2012" as well as working with strategy for recruitment and member services. Sommerfeldt also worked at Bouvet ASA and Ericsson from January 2000 to April 2003 where they became the head project manager for the delivery of MPS (Mobile Positioning System) to Telenor Mobile. Sommerfeldt has a Project Management Education programme (PLO-5) from their time at Ericsson and has attended numerous other training courses focusing on quality software development.

Simen Sommerfeldt has a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Systems Engineering from the University of Surrey, and is also an Informatikk-kandidat from the Norsk Informatikk Institutt. Simen also has a high school education in Naturfag from Lambertseter Videregående Skole. Simen is also certified from The Open Group in Archimate 2 Foundation.
