Arne Lambert

Arne Lambert has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Arne is currently serving as the Head of Internal Audit Department at Bouwinvest since September 2022. Prior to this, Arne held the position of Director and Head of Internal Audit Department at Mizuho Bank Europe N.V. from November 2016 to July 2022. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the internal audit function for Mizuho Bank's offices in Brussels, Vienna, and Madrid.

Before Mizuho, Arne gained experience at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where they worked as a Senior Auditor in their Group Audit division. Arne conducted audits in various locations including Asia, the Pacific, and the Middle East. Additionally, they were a Professional Trainee and Auditor in the same division.

Arne also has experience in consultancy and project management. Arne worked as a Consultancy Assistant at Humaneyes, where they supported consultants during client sessions and prepared photo-reports. Arne was also a Project Team Member at Effectory, where they assisted in operations within project management.

Furthermore, Arne's early work experience includes working as an Instructor/Trainer at Zeil- en surfschool De Lauwer, a sailing and windsurfing school. During their time there, they taught and coached students, and also managed the acquisition and rental operation of windsurfing equipment.

Arne Lambert has a diverse education history with a focus on auditing and risk management. In 1996-1998, Arne attended the Bell School in NY, USA. They then went on to complete their VWO degree in Natuur en Gezondheid, Economie 1, and Wiskunde B2 at Pleincollege van Maerlant Lyceum from 1998 to 2002. Arne continued their studies at the University of Amsterdam and earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Economics & Business from 2002 to 2009.

Moving towards their specialization, Arne pursued an Executive Master of Internal Auditing (EMIA) at the University of Amsterdam - Amsterdam Business School from 2010 to 2012, focusing on operational auditing. They further expanded their knowledge and skills in auditing by earning a Certificate in internal auditing (CIA) from The Institute Of Internal Auditors in 2013.

Arne then obtained additional certifications related to their field. They became a Registered Operational Auditor (RO) through Stichting Verenigde Operational Auditors (SVRO) in April 2013. In 2019, Arne earned a Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from The Institute Of Internal Auditors. They also obtained a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) in May 2020.

In 2020-2021, Arne pursued further education in Anti money laundering and combatting of terrorist financing by obtaining a Diploma of Education from the Nederlands Compliance Instituut.
