Dimitri Bastaert

Dimitri Bastaert currently serves as the R&D Innovation Manager at Bouygues Construction, where responsibilities involve overseeing the Construction Lab hub and participative innovation animation following a departmental merger in December 2023. Previously, Dimitri held the position of Innovation Manager in Bouygues Construction's Strategy Department, focusing on internal innovation aligned with organizational strategies. Prior experience includes serving as Project Manager for Automotive Powertrain Components at Mikuni Corporation, ensuring technical project performance for various European automotive manufacturers. Dimitri also worked at Groupe PSA, advancing from Chef de projets innovation to Ingénieur innovation en combustion moteur, contributing to engine development across multiple technical domains. Early career roles included positions at Danielson Engineering and Jaguar, where work involved acoustic measurement and engine prototype development, respectively.
