Edward Woods

Edward Woods serves as the Head of R&D and Innovation at Bouygues Construction since May 2024, contributing to the company's leadership in construction and services. Prior to this role, Edward held the position of Head of Engineering at Bouygues Immobilier from February 2016 to April 2024, overseeing diverse real estate projects across France and internationally. Edward's extensive experience includes leadership roles at WSP, where responsibilities ranged from Head of Buildings to Managing Director, engaging in high-profile projects worldwide. Earlier career highlights include senior engineering and management positions at Bouygues Bâtiment International and responsibilities for quality assurance and project execution design in various engineering capacities. Edward holds a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Johannesburg and has completed prior education in mathematics and engineering at St Lawrence College and St Johns College.
