Mahmoud Shaker

Mahmoud Shaker is a Methods Engineer with extensive experience in temporary works and construction methods within the civil engineering field. Currently employed at BOUYGUES UK since April 2021, Mahmoud is focused on the Hinkley Point C nuclear power plant, overseeing the development of construction methods and ensuring compliance with safety regulations for heavy precast pools. Prior to this role, Mahmoud worked at Orascom Construction Ltd, preparing methods for a 54 km viaduct and elevated stations, and at VINCI Construction, serving as Senior Methods Engineer for the Cairo Metro. Mahmoud's background includes detailed design work for various components of metro constructions, formwork design, and coordinating technical solutions. Mahmoud holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Zagzig University, completed in 2016.
