Kathy Lau

Kathy Lau is a seasoned professional in the construction and geotechnical engineering field, currently serving as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Contract Administrator at Bouygues Travaux Publics since April 2022, with a focus on the Central Kowloon Route - Central Tunnel project. Prior to this role, Kathy held positions as a Senior Officer at the Construction Industry Council, overseeing industry development in construction productivity, and as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Dragages Hong Kong Ltd, contributing to the same Central Kowloon Route project. Kathy's earlier experience includes a tenure at Leighton Asia as a Senior Engineer, involved in major tunneling projects, and as a Site Engineering Geologist for significant infrastructure developments. Kathy began the career as a Graduate Geologist at Jacobs China Ltd, following the attainment of a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Construction Project Management from The University of Hong Kong.
