Jorge Veloz

Based in Queretaro, Mexico, Jorge Veloz is the newest Overseas Representative for Bow Valley College in Mexico and Latin America.

Originally from Mexico City, Jorge came to Toronto as an international student himself. He thoroughly enjoyed his time in Canada and continues to travel often to the country, first visiting Calgary in 2008. Jorge has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Commerce from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and also has a certificate in Logistics from the University of Belgrano, Argentina, and in Multimodal Transport from Santa María la Antigua University in Panama City. Jorge worked in purchasing for a number of years before he started working for Bow Valley College at events and education expos.

Now in his formal role, Jorge enthusiastically represents Bow Valley College at events around Latin America and provides highly personalized support to students.

With his past experience as an international student, Jorge relates to students and thoroughly enjoys being able to guide and assist them as they learn about Canadian education and culture.
