Kate Pymont is the instructor for the Veterinary Office Assistant program in the Chiu School of Business.
Kate is a veterinary nurse and was registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the United Kingdom, working in the veterinary industry for 10 years before coming to Canada in 2008. Kate joined the faculty at Bow Valley College in August 2010 at the inception of the program and has experience in small and large animal nursing. Her passion for animal welfare has evolved into a passion for teaching others how to care for animals. Kate appreciates the benefits of the human-animal bond and believes that the welfare of those who own and care for animals is equally as important as the pets themselves.
