Ryan Wiebe is a seasoned professional in instructional design and learning development with over 20 years of experience. Currently serving as a Learning Design Consultant at Bow Valley College since January 2020, Ryan also operates Shutterduck Creative Solutions Inc. as a Learning and Development Consultant since 2012, providing eLearning services and curriculum development. Previously, Ryan held significant roles such as Team Lead and eLearning Specialist at the University of Calgary, and Learning Specialist at Precision Drilling. Additional experience includes positions at Alberta Health Services, Laureate Education, and TELUS, where Ryan honed skills in instructional design and learning facilitation. Ryan holds a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology from Walden University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Calgary, along with academic experience from Leiden University.

At Bow Valley College our business is adult education. We provide programs designed to help students build their skills through academic foundations, careers programs that last less than a year in Health, Business and Industry, and English as a Second Language training.
