Chris Ortega

Chris Ortega is a seasoned numismatist and auctioneer currently employed at Stack's Bowers Galleries since June 2017, and has contributed as an auction services and numismatic assistant. Prior to this role, Chris served as the marketing manager and lead luxury buyer at Gold Exchange Loan & Boutique from November 2009 to June 2017, where expertise in authenticating luxury goods and managing marketing campaigns was developed. Additionally, Chris gained experience as an assistant auctioneer and appraiser at Bendis Companies Inc from September 2003 to June 2017, specializing in asset liquidation and personal property appraisals. Educational achievements include a Diamond Grading Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America and a Marketing Certificate from UCLA Extension, focusing on web/multimedia management.
