Drew Needham

Drew Needham is a skilled researcher and assistant at the University of Maryland, College Park, where involvement has spanned from April 2010 to the present. In addition to this role, Drew serves as the mascot coach and coordinator at the university. Since April 2014, Drew has also contributed as a mascot assistant for the Washington Capitals, while simultaneously working as a mascot instructor for the National Cheerleaders Association. From June 2014, Drew has performed and consulted as a mascot for Shriners Hospitals for Children and has been a mascot performer for the Bowie Baysox since February 2012. Drew holds a degree in Biology, with a focus on Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Sciences, from the University of Maryland, obtained between 2009 and 2013.
