Marcus Freeman

Lead UX/UI and Designer at Bowst

Marcus Freeman began their career in 2007 as a Student Media Consultant, Astronomy Teaching Assistant, and Research Assistant at Williams College. In 2010, they moved to Rochester Institute of Technology where they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant. In 2016, they joined Bowst as a Lead UX/UI and Designer. In this role, they worked to make the internet more inclusive by designing the user experience and developing web designs, as well as serving as the creative lead for internal designs and video content.

Marcus Freeman attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2015, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Astronomy and Astrophysics. Prior to that, they attended Williams College from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Astrophysics.
