Olivia Martel, M.A.

Olivia Martel, M.A. has a wide range of work experience. In 2000, they were a Junior Account Executive at Peppercom Inc, where they performed media relations, attended trade shows on behalf of clients, and obtained placements in print media. Olivia also worked as a Freelance Editor for John J. Holland, Jr. Ph.D. that same year. In 2003, they were an Intern to the Athletics Director at Villanova University, where they helped assist with the running of the front office, oversaw game contracts for varsity sports, and mentored student-athletes. From 2004 to 2008, they were an Academic Advisor at Northeastern University, advising a caseload of approximately 1,000 students in the majors of Architecture, Art, Graphic Design, Music, and Multimedia Studies. From 2008 to 2018, they were the Community Programs Coordinator and de facto Social Media Lead at Princeton University, marketing events and programs to a diverse and demanding graduate student population through Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Constant Contact, and printed collateral. Olivia also established and wrote creative copy for their personal blog, SnowPinkSky, since 2007. From 2018 to 2020, they were an Events & Engagement Specialist and Creative Content Specialist at Graham-Pelton Consulting. Currently, they are a Podcaster for Highs & Lows with Liv and Rose and a Content & Communications Manager at Bowstring Studios.

Olivia Martel, M.A. completed their high school diploma at Shore Regional. Olivia then pursued their undergraduate degree at Villanova University, earning a BA in English. Finally, they returned to Villanova University to earn their MA in English.
