Martha Maurno

Martha Maurno is a bilingual business manager and co-owner of Box Elder Behavioral Health LLC, where responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining business compliance, and overseeing marketing and insurance claims. In addition, Martha serves as an English teacher for the Virginia Community College System, teaching advanced English composition both online and in person, and has secured multiple grants to enhance the curriculum for non-traditional students. Martha has extensive teaching experience, having held positions at Old Dominion University, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, Kaplan University Online, Surry County High School, Peninsula Catholic High School, and Lakeland High School. Martha holds a Master of Science in Education from Old Dominion University and has undergraduate degrees from Columbia University in English and Spanish and from Barnard College in Psychology.
