Sara Cheikh-Husain

Sara Cheikh-Husain is a Senior Research, Evaluation Associate, and Relationships Manager at The Centre for Multicultural Policy and Programme Evaluation since December 2023, alongside research roles at Monash University and the University of Melbourne. As Director of Research and Community Engagement at Our Race, Sara leads workshops and training focused on ethical storytelling and workplace cultural safety, also managing research initiatives to promote gender equity and work diversity. Experience includes lecturing and tutoring in sociology and community services, with a comprehensive academic background, highlighted by a PhD from Deakin University centered on Islamophobia. Educational qualifications also include a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education and an Honours degree in Communication.
