Dan Shapiro

Dan Shapiro, AIA, is an Associate Principal at ZGF Architects with diverse experience in architecture and urban design across the US, China, and Europe. They began their career at H2L2 Architects/Planners, where they worked as an Architect and Associate, focusing on student housing and campus planning. Shapiro continued to develop their expertise at notable firms, including serving as an Architecte directeur at Rolinet et Associés, where they led urban multi-family housing projects in France and Switzerland. At GBBN Architects, they specialized in healthcare and educational projects before joining ZGF Architects in 2018, where they function as the Senior Project Architect for significant medical and research facilities. They hold a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University, earned in 1988.
