Chantal Thorn

Chantal Thorn is the Director of Program Development at Box of Crayons. Chantal has over three years of experience in the field of learning and leadership development.

Before joining Box of Crayons, Chantal Thorn worked as the Director of Learning and Leadership Development at D2L. In this role, they were responsible for system-wide implementation of models, tools, and training to enhance the organization’s leadership capability to effectively drive D2L’s culture.

From supporting the development and embedding of leadership competencies, to facilitating the cultural change towards a performance coaching culture, to developing programs to equip new leaders to lead effectively, to developing monthly and strategic learning and development opportunities – Chantal Thorn has extensive experience in the field of learning and development.

Chantal is passionate about their work and is always looking for ways to improve organizational effectiveness. Chantal Thorn is a collaborative leader who enjoys working with others to achieve common goals.

Chantal Thorn has a PhD in Psychology from the University of Windsor. Chantal also has a Bachelor of Psychology from Nipissing University. Chantal attended Ecole Secondaire Catholique Algonquin for their high school education.
