Swaroop Butala

Swaroop Butala is an experienced technology leader and founder with a strong background in engineering and product development. Currently serving as the Founder at a stealth startup and a Founder Fellow at On Deck since April 2021, Swaroop has previously held significant roles at Box from May 2012 to June 2021, including Director of Engineering overseeing mobile product teams and leading web product engineering efforts. Swaroop’s experience also includes work as a Senior Backend Software Developer at Yahoo! focusing on the social platform and a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, where Swaroop contributed to improving high-performance computing methods. Swaroop holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology.
